January 24, 2026 – Oregon High School We the People Regional Competition (Multnomah County Circuit Courthouse)

January 31, 2026 – Oregon High School We the People State Competition (Multnomah County Circuit Courthouse)

April 16-20, 2026 – National High School We the People Competition (Maryland)

 

We The People State Competition 2024-2025 Results

The State Competition for We The People took place on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Mark O. Hatfield Courthouse. All six teams worked incredibly hard and did an amazing job! Special thanks to the teachers, coaches, volunteer Judges and facilitators, and the Hatfield security and staff for making the event successful – we could not do it without your support!

We The People Regional Competition 2025

The We The People Regional Competition took place on January 11, 2025, at Portland Community College – Cascades. This exciting event brought together high school students participating in the “We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution” program, a unique initiative focused on learning about the US Constitution through simulated congressional hearings. During the competition, students testified before a panel of judges, showcasing their understanding of constitutional principles and their application to contemporary issues.
