Your students will see the law come alive during a Civics Learning Project Courthouse Tour! Your day begins at the Jackson County Circuit Court where your guide will orient you on what to expect from the tour. Depending on the court schedule for the day, your class will learn about the justice system by observing court proceedings, Q&As with court staff and attorneys, or conversations with judges. Tours are available to students grades 5 – 12.
Tours begin at approximately 11:00am and go to around 1:30pm, and include a break for lunch (not provided, please bring your own). If you need to begin your tour at an earlier time, please note that upon check-out.
Each tour day can accommodate up to 30 students.
Masks are not required at this time for participants on the Jackson County Courthouse Experience Tour.
